The Banshees of Inisherin

Sometimes a movie is more medicine than sugar. "The Banshees of Inisherin" is sad and depressing, but it has made a lasting impact on me, and I recommend it for anyone that struggles to balance the need to create with the desire to be part of other's lives.

There is never time enough to do all we want. Your life is defined by what you choose to sacrifice. I often feel painfully torn between my desire to spend time creating and my desire to be part of the life I am so grateful to have.

I have not seen any reviews of the movie that interpreted it this way. Most of the reviews strike too shallow an angle and bounce off atmosphere.

Watch it with this perspective, and it can help you make good choices.
