Train Wreck Near The Lost Cove

Train wreck near the Lost Cove, the setting of my book Flightsuit. The image is used by permission of Archives of Appalachia at ETSU. I think I recognize this part of the track and am anxious to go back and compare the rocks to the picture to be sure.

For a time there was a lumber mill in the Lost Cove. The timbers made it an important stop for the railroad as they needed them for ties. All the more remarkable when you bear in mind that there were no roads to it then, or now.
